Park Chair

Embru’s new garden chair is simple and modern. Designed by Moritz Schmid, it is built to last and has been recognised with a national design award.

Information

The new garden chair was created by Swiss designer Moritz Schmid and has been awarded a national design prize. The curved shape of the rear legs is a defining feature of the chair and gives it an unmistakable look. The seat and backrest, made from sheet steel, are finely and smoothly contoured. Nevertheless, thanks to its frame made from high-quality tubular steel, this outdoor chair is extremely robust and is ideally suited for private outdoor spaces or for use in public areas and the hospitality sector.

The monochrome colour scheme ensures a contemporary aesthetic. There is a choice of three colours, as well as a galvanised version with a raw, unfinished look. The Park Chair is available in a version with armrests wrapped in PVC cord. The chair has been designed so that all parts can be easily replaced. This means the chair is designed with repair in mind (‘Design to Repair’) and thus aligns with the modern philosophy of maximising product longevity and promoting a circular economy.
