A glimpse into the furniture factory

Every year, between 800 and 1,000 tonnes of steel are processed at Embru’s factories. Here, the steel is punched, cut and bent. Steel tubes, sheet metal parts and profiles take shape and are assembled into furniture. At the Rüti site, state-of-the-art machinery and equipment carry out their work – hand in hand with our specialist staff. This year, the first laser welding robot was commissioned to meet customer expectations using the very latest technology.

As part of the Open Day, you’ll be given a guided tour of Embru’s showrooms and have the opportunity to discover our furniture. You’re also welcome to visit individual exhibitions with your team.

Museum

In autumn 2022, we opened our in-house museum. The exhibition is housed in a historic building on our company premises in Rüti, which has been recently renovated. The museum showcases a fine selection of furniture designed and produced in-house, with a strong focus on the era of Swiss Modernism and the Bauhaus.
